 Scallymatic Orchestra is now a part of the Dutch Nu-Jazz Movement. We'll join forces with The Jazzinvaders, State of Monc and Monsieur Dubois to promote Dutch nu-jazz on a national and international level. This week we'll be attending the Berlin Music Week to put DNJM on the map in Germany! | |

 We're almost there: the release of our debut cd in Paradiso April 3rd! This first album is very special to us, not only because of the music. We're very proud to have a work of art on the cover by internationally acclaimed Dutch artist Marcel van Eeden. His more abstract drawings are very 'jazz' and expose an atmosphere that matches our music perfectly (we think:-). His work is based on the life before his time. As we are heavily inspired by music 'before our time', the connection is more than evident. With very kind permission of Marcel, courtesy Galerie Zink, we based our album design on his drawing 'Annie get you gun'. And by doing so, the album found it's name.
